The Musashi Way is an independent editorial project. It is not affiliated with any university, corporation, or martial arts organisation. The site is maintained by an independent Founder & Editor as a dedicated research resource.

This project stems from a passion for Miyamoto Musashi's writings and a belief that strategic thinking concepts deserve careful, accessible examination. While Go Rin no Sho is widely cited, we aim to bridge the gap between academic translation and practical understanding.

We do not produce our own translations of classical Japanese texts. Instead, we reference established, published translations, explicitly citing the translators. We use short quotations under fair use/fair dealing for the purpose of review, criticism, and education.

Historical claims are cross-referenced with published scholarly works. Where accounts differ or historical consensus is lacking, we make note of these discrepancies rather than presenting a contested narrative as absolute fact.

We are committed to accuracy. If errors are identified in our historical facts or misrepresentations of scholarly works are found, we correct them. Errors can be reported via our contact form, and significant corrections will be noted at the bottom of the affected articles.

The Musashi Way is currently maintained as a free educational and research resource. Advertising or other forms of monetisation may be introduced in the future to support hosting, research and development.
